  • Dr. Marnie Lahmon

    Owner
    A 1994 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Lahmon has practiced mixed animal medicine in the area since graduation. She purchased Spring Meadow Vet Clinic in September 2006 from Doctors Roger McInturf and Gerald Mast. Dr. Marnie has become known for her goat medicine, and enjoys not only the large animal medicine but the small animals as well. Dr. Lahmon has a special interest in surgery, dentistry and senior pet care. Her hobbies include gardening, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Her pet family includes a dog named Skippy, a dexter cow, several cats and goats.
  • Dr. Kristin Kluever

    DVM
    Dr. Kristin is a 2019 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to Veterinary school, Dr. Kluever graduated from Bowling Green with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. Her professional interests focus on small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Kluever and her husband, Rick, live in Spencer with their dog Oakley and enjoy spending time outdoors.

    Practice Manager
    Alisha started with Spring Meadow Veterinary Clinic in September of 2006 as a Registered Technician - she is now our Practice Manager. Alisha has an A.S. degree in Beef Production and Management and a B.S. degree in Animal Science from The Ohio State University. Also, she is a 2005 graduate of the Veterinary Technician program at Columbus State Community College, where she received her Veterinary Technician License. Her pet family includes a lab mix named Roofus; five cats - Vulture, Sparkles, Catspurr, Pepper & Fanta; 2 ducks; 1 chickens; 1 rooster; 16 geese; a pony named Charlie; and 6 goats: Anna, Olaf, Opie, Otis, Jake & Bandit. Alisha's veterinary interests include dentistry, pain management and client education. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Jeremiah & their daughter Claire.

    Registered Veterinary Technician
    Mindy joined our team in October of 2018 as one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians. Mindy graduated from the Vet Tech Institute at Bradford School in August 2011. Her pet family includes 6 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats and 6 chickens. Mindy is married to Zac and has 2 daughters, Madilynn & Charlotte. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her familya nd working with her horses.

    Registered Veterinary Technician
    Annie joined our team of Registered Veterinary Technicians in September of 2019. She grew up in Ashland County and attended Bradford School in Columbus where Annie graduated in 2011. She recently moved back to Ashland with her Australian Shepherd, Baxter and her Irish Setter, Carly. In Annie’s spare time she enjoys being around horses, hiking and kayaking.

    Registered Veterinary Technician
    Gabby is a 2019 graduate of the Vet Tech Institute of Bradford Schools where she obtained her license as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Gabby is interested in both small and large animal medicine as well as exotics. Outside of work Gabby enjoys camping and reading. Gabby's pet family includes 3 cats named Tucker, Wednesday & Debbie.

    Lead Veterinary Assistant
    Paige has been a valuable member of SMVC since March 2018, serving as the dedicated Lead Assistant. With over six years in the veterinary field and armed with a degree in Biology, her expertise is an asset to our team. What truly fuels Paige's passion is witnessing pets arrive unwell and depart in robust health. She finds satisfaction in going above and beyond to ensure their recovery. Additionally, she takes great joy in preparing shelter cats and stray dogs for adoption, contributing to their journey to forever homes. At home, Paige cares for three cherished feline companions named London, Anchorage, and Adelaide, alongside a wonderfully affectionate pittie named Lucca. Her commitment to animal welfare extends beyond the clinic, making her an exceptional advocate for our furry friends.

    Veterinary Assistant
    Meet our dedicated team member, Kristi, who has been a part of Spring Meadow Veterinary Clinic since May 2021. With a Bachelor's degree in Equine Science and Management from Morrisville State College, specializing in Equine Rehabilitation, Kristi is currently pursuing her education to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Her passion for the job shines through as she finds her greatest fulfillment in seeing the hospitalized patients she's cared for walk out the door with their families, feeling better and healthier. When she's not at the clinic, Kristi enjoys spending time with her furry friends, including her two cats, Milo and Jax, and her goat, Ace. Beyond her work, Kristi indulges in her love for the outdoors, often hiking, horseback riding, and even teaching her goat new tricks. With her diverse background and unwavering commitment, Kristi is a vital member of our team who truly cares about the well-being of our animal patients.

    Veterinary Assistant
    Tori joined our team in October 2021 as a Veterinary Assistant. She's currently studying to become a Registered Veterinary Technician through Penn Foster. She enjoys caring for our furry patients and is thrilled when they visit happily. Tori loves animals and has three cats (Bella, Carmen, and Blue), two dogs (Ava and Archie), and two pigs (Ruger and Wilbur). Tori recently got married and enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching over her nephew, and indulging in hunting and fishing.

    Customer Service Representative
    Diana has been with Spring Meadow since October 2006. She really enjoys her job, especially interacting with the clients and their 4-legged family members. Diana has always loved animals and has a special place in her heart for each one! She has 3 grown children that have blessed her with 5 beautiful granddaughters. In her spare time she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and spoiling her granddaughters! Four cats - Ralph, Millie, Olive & Oliver, live with Diana and her husband Loyal.

    Customer Service Representative
    Tommi has been part of the Spring Meadow team since 2002. Tommi began working at Spring Meadow as a Veterinary Assistant and is now working as one of our Customer Service Representatives! Her pet family includes a several cats and a few sheep. Tommi enjoys the country life and in her spare time enjoys spending time with family and friends.

    Kerry began working as a part of our Customer Service team in May of 2018. She loves all animals, especially dogs and cats. Kerry and her fiance Doug have a dog named Norman and 3 cats - Slippers, Shaquille Lamonte and Stanley. In her spare time Kerry loves to hang out with family, go to flea markets and loves sports - especially the Buckeyes, Steelers & Red Sox.

    Sandi joined our team in July of 2020. She and her husband Jeremy have 2 children and a crazy silver lab named Jazz. In Sandi's spare time she loves to cook and work on her century home they are restoring.

    Customer Service Representative
    Lorie is a dedicated member of the Spring Meadow Veterinary Clinic team, bringing her experience and compassion to her role as a Customer Service Representative since 2022. Her journey into animal care began in 2005 when she volunteered at the Richland County Dog Shelter, later transitioning into a role as a vet assistant for a decade, she now serves as a CSR. Today, Lorie continues her commitment to animal rescue, embodying her passion for animals in her daily work. Her favorite aspect of the job is the opportunity to meet and interact with a diverse array of pets, with a soft spot for dogs. She also values the connections she makes with pet owners. Lorie's own furry family members include Bruno, an 11-year-old Pit mix, Ruby, a 4-year-old Boxer mix, and Buddy, a 12-year-old Schnauzer. In addition to her cherished pets, Lorie opens her heart and home to animals in need of temporary shelter until they find their forever families.

    Beyond her work with animals, Lorie enjoys a fulfilling family life alongside her husband, Dave. They share a love for fishing and hunting, with their two grown children, Jessica and Dylan. Lorie's unwavering passion for aiding animals in need is at the core of her identity, making her an invaluable member of our team.

    Deb began working at Spring Meadow in October 2007 as one of our kennel attendants. Deb and her husband John have 3 kids, 10 grandchildren, 3 dogs and 2 cats. In her spare time Deb enjoys attending her grand kids activities, reading, gardening, watching the Cleveland Browns and just spending time with her family.

    Meet Britani, our newest groomer at Ashland Doggy Daycare since September 2023. Armed with certification from the Paragon School of Pet Grooming, Britani continually enriches her skills through ongoing online education, focusing on dog body language and client communications. Her dedication extends beyond grooming tables—she thrives on forging connections with her clients, understanding their preferences, and fostering comfort for their pets. For Britani, the most fulfilling aspect of her role is witnessing pets experience improved well-being, whether it's liberating them from uncomfortable mats or tending to their paw pads and nails. Beyond her passion for pet care, she shares her home with an adorable furry family: Pierre, her orange tabby; Eleanor Rigby, the charming calico; and the feisty grey tuxedo, Mama Mia.
