Our Veterinary Services

Emergency & Urgent Care During Open Hours

We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 7 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such a snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarians will do their best to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you call our office, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
Please note payment is expected in full at the time of service. Emergency fees may apply.

Immunization and Wellness Care

We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.

Dental Care

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasonic equipment to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Our dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity.  We recommend Perio Plus Powder, Biotene Water Additive as well as Purina DH dental diet as a daily maintenance for your pet's teeth after the dental cleaning.

Don't forget, dental work is not only for our small furry friends. . . but our large friends too!  When was the last time your horse had its teeth floated?

Equine & Large Animal Services

Big or small we care for them all!  Our Doctors not only provide care for your small pets, but your large animals as well.   We also have a portable digital X-ray Machine.

Radiology (X-Ray) & Ultrasound

Radiology - or X-rays - help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems.  We have digital x-ray to allow us to see in better detail what may be wrong with your pet.  Ultrasound - allows us to further evaluate your pet by diagnosing internal problems, as well as pregnancies.

Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. We recommend and carry the full line of Purina Veterinary Diets, specially formulated to meet the specific needs of your pets!

Our in-house lab allows us to run blood work, urine screens, thyroid tests and much more on your pet while you wait.  Within 15 to 20 minutes our Doctors will know the results or your pet's blood test.  We recommend having annual blood work completed for all senior pets (7 years of age and older), as well as prior to anesthesia and/or when your pet isn't feeling well.  We are also proud to offer you the complete line of the most up-to-date testing equipment from Idexx Laboratories.
